Boreal Chickadee - Life-size sculpture. A relative rarity confined to the Boreal Forests of Canada and the northern most portions of the US. We had the opportunity to see these elusive little birds in the Sax-Zim Bog in Northern MN. This particular carving I donated to the Sax-Zim Bog for them to sell at their welcome center gift store as a way to support the Bog.
