We have always planned a dinner together somewhere on Saturday evening
of the Invasion. We usually just invade a local restaurant, but
we end up scattered about trying to seat us all. At some of the past Invasions we have reserved a space and catered in the Saturday night meal and we all got to sit together and socialize and it
worked out great.
This year we are doing something similar. Our hosts, Mary & Richard, have lined us up with a catered, sit-down dinner at the banquet facitity right at the host hotel for our
dinner.

(8 oz. choice cut sirloin grilled to medium, topped with sautéed mushrooms & onions with Garlic Whipped Red Skin Potatoes)
Pan Seared Chicken $25/plate
(Seared Chicken Topped with a Jack Daniel demi glaze with Garlic Whipped Red Skin Potatoes)
Cinnamon Lacquered Salmon $25/plate
(4 oz Salmon Filet with cinnamon demi glaze and Rice Pilaf)
NEW Roasted Veggie Pasta Bake $25/plate
(with Gluten-free Garlic Bread. Can be made dairy free by request)
NEW Kids Menu Options: Cheeseburger,Chicken Strips, or Mac & Cheese $13/plate
(with French Fries & Applesauce)
All dinner entrees include Steamed Vegetables (carrots, broccoli, & cauiflower), Petite Dinner Roll, & Side Salad. Price includes 20% Gratuity/Service Charge and 5.5% WI State Sales Tax .
There will be a cash bar for pop and adult beverages. We are planning to have sweet treats in the parking lot around the Type 3s.
We will need a final headcount and dinner choice by the 15th of June so that the hotel banquet facility can plan and be ready for our dinner. I will be sending out direct emails to all of the Planned Invaders to gather this info. Please watch for the email and respond accordingly.
Mary & Richard will pre-pay for the entire Satruday dinner based on the final headcount on the 15th. Individuals will have to reimburse them during the Invasion with cash or check. If you would like to use Venmo (@John-Jaranson) or PayPal (john@carartbyjohn.com) , you can send me the money and I will settle up with Mary & Richard. Once you have paid for your dinner, you will get a wrist band to show that you have paid and a ticket with your entree choice. The ticket will be collected by the staff at the banquet facility.
